Visited for halal option for takeout dinner, on a cold November night, and so happy with the very generous portions of lamb shawarma, and it was very tasty food indeed. We ordered two lamb shawarma wraps, one with chips and drink, plus a traditional Arab tea, all for just 15. It was delicious! Highly recommended, and definitely going there again. In summary; the flavours were authentic and fresh, the portions were very generous, and the prices were very affordable. The restaurant was spotless, and the staff were extremely friendly and attentive, served with Salaam's and smiles! Both of us were completely satisfied!

I love writing reviews. Sometimes I think I write too many words. I'll keep it simple: this is the nicest thing I've eaten all year. And the prices are incredibly reasonable. Everything tastes made fresh from scratch. The wraps were so good, I swear even the can of coke from there hit different too. I can pretty much guarantee I'll be back this week.

Ate here twice. Every time i think of York, I will think of this restaurant. The city i live in has about two hundred shawarma restaurants but this is the best i have ever eaten. Both the falafel and lamb were excellent. Thank you!

The prices of the sandwiches are very good. Good location close to old city. The chicken shawarma sandwich was not greasy which is a huge plus for me, the flat bread was soft and different from other wraps I had, which I really liked. I recommend this place for a cheap tasty bite
